正念應用於西方兒童教育,有效改善專注力


東方哲學老祖宗智慧,在西方教育領域發揚光大。藉由實驗數據顯示,學習正念覺察,有效提昇小朋友的專注力、改善對社會法規秩序遵循能力、以及提昇小朋友對周遭人的同理關懷。對教育領域、小孩教育關心的父母,在台灣很幸運,有許多推廣正念的民間團體,可以參與其活動。

We are delighted to share some early results from the study we conducted in partnership with UC Davis in the 2011-12 school year. It is the largest study to date on mindfulness and children, involving 915 children and 47 teachers in 3 public schools in Oakland (ranked #5 in the United States in violent crime).
